This is a rating that defines a good level of sustainability above the industry average, as reported in the benchmark analysis, and this certifies the quality of the projects and investments implemented by the company. A positive rating that adds to the recent declaration of verification according to the ISO 14064-1 2018 standard of our greenhouse gas emissions inventory, which highlights the ability to measure and monitor the carbon footprint of the company's business.
Irinox S.p.A. assessed through ESG criteria gets the best performance in the following areas: corporate welfare and personnel management; relations with the territory and the community; certifications and compliance with regulations and in the ability to consider the impacts of its business on the environment and society. The assessment by Cribis, one of the most qualified agencies at national level and also recognised internationally, is the result of a process of processing information provided by the company through the Synesgy methodology. The latter follows generally accepted international standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and was developed by CRIF Ratings, a credit rating agency operating under the supervision of ESMA.
This is an achievement that, therefore, confirms Irinox S.p.A.'s commitment to the roadmap of benefit societies, a path it embarked on last 3 October with the change of bylaws and thus pursuing not only business objectives, but aims of common benefit by operating responsibly, sustainably and transparently towards people, communities, territories and the environment.
