Irinox has obtained certification for gender equality. The recognition comes after the conclusion of the thorough auditing phase that concluded by providing a more than positive assessment for the activities carried out with the goal of fostering inclusion. Irinox thus becomes one of the few companies nationwide, some 1467, to have obtained the certification.
For Irinox, this is an important goal in the sustainability journey. The certification, specifically, analyzed measures to ensure gender equality in the work environment. The result obtained is the result of work done in collaboration with Fondazione Libellula, which also supports Irinox in combating gender-based violence. In addition to dedicated training courses Irinox has fielded a number of welfare measures capable of fostering gender equality in the different dynamics of business activity.
The purpose of the certification system to companies is to encourage the adoption of policies for gender equality and women's empowerment at the company level and thus to improve the possibility for women to access the labor market, leadership and harmonization of life times. Certification is done on a voluntary basis and at the request of the enterprise. Accredited certification bodies operating on the basis of UNI/PdR 125:2022 practice provide certification.
